Soooo….this sign was AFTER the stream with the dead rattlesnake in it that we had to drive across.
And yet…we kept going.
Figueroa Mountain, in the Santa Ynez Valley, California
This is one of the coolest neon signs I’ve seen in the wild! Originally part of the Hacienda Hotel in Fresno, California (there was also a Hacienda in Las Vegas), this sign and others were rescued by the Mendes family and now reside happily at the Mendes General Store in Fresno (western gear).
