I love Halloween displays! Found this clever one in an antique store in the adorable town of Coburg, Oregon. It’s an HDR photo, processed in OnOne Software’s new Perfect Photo Suite 8.

Fairy-tale cottage on Pacific Coast Highway (yes, that’s a concrete whale tail)…

I spotted the concrete whale first — a rapidly-disintegrating whale over an empty swimming pool — but it was enough to make me turn around on narrow Pacific Coast Highway and head back to Westport (north of Mendocino). It was then that I saw the whale tail, buried in the yard a few feet from the pool and…that adorable house, just feet from the Pacific Ocean with an unobstructed view. It looks like it should be on top of a wedding cake.
